If she was trying to prove she's capable of some serious errors in judgment, then point taken: Dr. Laura Schlessinger apologized for using the n-word multiple times on-air during a broadcast of her radio show, claiming she was attempting to prove a point. "I articulated the n-word all the way out—more than one time," she said at the opening of her show and in comments she posted on her website. "And that was wrong. I'll say it again—that was wrong." She "realized I had made a horrible mistake, and was so upset, I could not finish the show," and says she took herself off the air after one hour. On Tuesday, Schlessinger called a listener oversensitive to racial epithets, and used the n-word many times, contending that "black guys say it all the time."
