Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte has vowed that he won’t cooperate with a corruption probe seeking information about the president’s alleged failure to disclose hundreds of millions of pesos. “I will not submit to the jurisdiction,” the strongman said in a speech on Saturday, calling the allegations against him “lies based on baseless” information. Despite Duterte’s defiant stance, his spokesman last week said that the president respected the probe.
