ESPN announced Thursday that Curt Schilling would not appear on baseball broadcasts for the remainder of the season. The analyst and former Boston Red Sox pitcher was suspended Aug. 25 after he sent a tweet that compared Muslim extremists with Nazis in Germany. “Curt’s actions have not been consistent with his contractual obligations, nor have they been professionally handled,” the sports network said in a statement. “As a result, he will not appear on ESPN through the remainder of the regular season and our Wild Card playoff game.”
