A former CIA agent has been charged with leaking classified information about the agency's spy war with Iran to New York Times reporter James Risen. The agent is charged with 10 counts of improbably keeping and sharing national security information. The leaks formed part of the foundation of Risen's 2006 book, State of War, which revealed significant parts of the CIA's operations against Iran. The agent was subpoenaed twice by the Justice Department according to the indictment, which was unsealed Thursday in Alexandria, Virginia.
