Ex-CIA Agent To Be Extradited to Italy

According to a report by Agence France-Presse, Portugal's highest court has approved a former CIA agent's extradition to Italy where she will face a conviction of kidnapping for her participation in the agency's renditions program. This appeal to the Portuguese high court was Sabrina de Sousa's final attempt to avoid extradition. In 2009, she and 23 Americans, including 22 CIA agents, were convicted by an Italian court for the kidnapping of an Egyptian cleric.
