Voters are flooding Milwaukee polling stations today, requiring the city's election commission to call in extra poll workers at several participating schools. The biggest problem workers have found are long lines, caused by the large number of voters registering for the first time today. Some registered voters have arrived at their local polling station only to find that—due to redistricting—their names are not on the rolls. One voter, Megan Knudson, took the initiative to contact the election commission to find out just where her registration was located. "My main worry is that there would be many people in my situation, and they would not be comfortable advocating for themselves," she said.
