The FBI and U.S. Attorney's Office are apparently looking into shooting incidents within the Chicago Police Department. On Friday, a former police officer and prosecutor sent the Fraternal Order of Police a letter saying he had discovered that investigation into "certain police-involved shootings, specifically ones in which an offender’s gun was not recovered." Officers in Chicago have fatally shot 10 people this year, and 13 last year.
