So soon? The counting of absentee ballots in Miami-Dade County, Fla., was finally completed Thursday morning, after election officials pulled an all-nighter to tally the last batch of votes. However, there are still provisional ballots that must be counted, and officials announce that official results won’t be announced until Friday. Not only is Florida the only state yet to announce a winner in the presidential election, there are several tight local elections awaiting outcomes. South Florida made national headlines on election night when voters were still waiting to cast ballots at 1:30 a.m. in some precincts after waiting up to seven hours in line. So things are running real smoothly down there in Florida.
