Police arrested former News of the World editor Andy Coulson Friday and took him to a London police station, as scheduled. He was picked up by officers from Operation Weeting, the investigation into the phone-hacking scandal, and Operation Elveden, the investigation into the bribery of police officers for information. Coulson is expected to be bailed out, but his is the highest-profile arrest to date in the NOtW scandal. The arrest is also a blow to Prime Minister David Cameron, who hired Coulson as his director of communications, a move for which Cameron took responsibility Friday.
