Victoria Jackson has thrown her hat (or bow) in the race for a seat on Tennessee's Williamson County commission. You may remember Jackson from her tenure as Saturday Night Live cast member from 1986-92. Or, more recently, from her work as an outspoken Tea Party conservative, writing—and then deleting—an article calling for a ‘white history month,’ and recording the the catchy protest tune, “There’s a Communist Living in the White House.” Jackson will run against the to-be-determined Republican nominee for the county commission seat as an Independent because she is “very disappointed with the Republican Party.”
