Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, a heroine of the country’s 2004 Orange Revolution, was arrested on Friday in the middle of her trial on charges of abuse of power. Tymoshenko, who became the country’s first female prime minister in 2005, was reportedly disruptive in court, refusing to stand up when addressing the judge, insulting him, and showing contempt to witnesses—including the country’s current prime minister. She’s accused of illegally brokering a gas deal with Russia in 2009.
