Get ready for a hiring boom for right-wing cable pundits. Fox News has suspended its contracts with contributors Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum pending decisions by the two men on whether to run for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination. Both are expected to announce their decisions soon—Gingrich perhaps as soon as this week. The suspensions will last 60 days. It could just be the beginning of an exodus at the channel. Also on the payroll: Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee, both of whom are also considered contenders for the Republican nod.
