Newt Gingrich's bubble is bound to pop eventually—but by then it may be too late. That's the message of moderate Republican standard-bearer David Frum. He writes at his site FrumForum that Gingrich is a chronically chaotic leader. His campaign already imploded once this year, and he was booted from his own caucus when he ran the House. “There’s a reason Gingrich is fascinated by management gurus: he needs the help,” writes Frum. But it’s only five weeks to the New Hampshire primary, and if Newt can keep it together until then, expect to see the GOP start to worry. Frum predicts that if Newt somehow emerges as the nominee eight months from now, expect the mood at the convention to “be full unconcealed panic.”
