DNA from one of the escaped killers from upstate New York’s Clinton Correctional Facility has been found at a cabin that was broken into on a site owned by corrections officers, The Plattsburgh Press-Republican reports. Police said they have run “conclusive” DNA tests on objects found in the area 20 miles from the prison that Richard Matt and David Sweat escaped from two weeks ago. Soures told The Press-Republican that “boots, bloody socks, and toiletries were found, along with a water jug and peanut butter” at the location. A second prison worker has been placed on administrative leave.
