Two of Muammar Gaddafi’s former interrogators in Benghazi—men known for their brutality—have turned up dead within days of each other in farmland in the city’s outskirts, according to the New York Times. Their murders raise the possibility of death squads stalking Gaddafi’s former henchmen in the rebels' capital city. Rebels have already begun rounding up people they accuse of being Gaddafi loyalists; they deny, however, any role in the murders and say they suspect Islamists who have been freed from prison and are seeking to settle the score.
