George Zimmerman, who was acquitted of second-degree murder and manslaughter in the shooting death of unarmed teen Trayvon Martin in 2012, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault on Friday. Zimmerman was booked into the John E. Polk Correctional Facility at about 9:45 p.m. Friday and is alleged to have thrown a bottle of wine at his girlfriend several days ago. His bond has been set at $5,000.
