Michele Bachmann's allegations that the Muslim Brotherhood is trying to infiltrate the U.S. government, specifically with the help of Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, have received a wag of the finger from several major players in Bachmann's party including House Speaker John Boehner and Sen. John McCain as well as her former chief of staff. But leave it to Newt Gingrich to stand by Bachmann for asking questions about the Islamic group. "There weren't allegations, there was a question," the former presidential hopeful told Politico. "The question ought to be asked across the board," regarding the relationship of the U.S. with the Muslim Brotherhood. When asked about those who've condemned Bachmann for instigating a witch hunt, Gingrich said, "I think those folks are wrong ... what is it they're afraid of learning?"
