Golden Globes Glee News: Anne Hathaway to Play Chris Colfer's Aunt

Fresh from their Golden Globe win for Best Television Series in the comedy category, the cast of Glee got another surprise when the show's creator Ryan Murphy announced that they'd soon be seeing Anne Hathaway on set. Hathaway created a role for herself as the lesbian aunt of the Fox series' openly gay character, Kurt (played by Sunday night's Golden Globe winner Chris Colfer). "She wants to play the lesbian aunt of Chris Colfer. Because everyone needs a lesbian aunt," Murphy explained. The 28-year-old actress seems like a perfect fit since last month, Colfer told E! "Can you imagine a family with myself, Mike O'Malley, Julie Andrews, and Anne Hathaway? That's one hell of a family!"
