The Guggenheim and Google announced a global web competition in honor of the museum’s fiftieth birthday to create 3-D shelter models for a real point on the Earth (GoogleEarth, that is) using the Google App Sketch-up. Ten finalists will be selected by students of the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture, and then an online poll will determine the winner for a $1000 cash reward. Think you’ve got untapped talent? Try your hand at Google SketchUp.
