Congress has moved on to passing financial reform, ending Don't Ask, Don't Tell, and tackling an oil spill, but the Democrats' health-care law is still on the agenda for House Republicans. On Thursday, House GOP leaders introduced a bill that would repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act President Obama signed into law in March and replace it with a Republican alternative. “As unpopular as this health-care bill is today, it’s at the height of its popularity,” Rep. Roy Blunt (R-MO) told The Hill. “The more the American people know about it, the more concerns they are going to have, and the more they are going to look at alternatives.” With Democrats in control of the House, the measure is unlikely to come to the floor but could be used on the campaign trail by both parties in a number of midterm races.
