From one Jersey boy to another. After hearing the news that James Gandolfini passed away Wednesday, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie tweeted a series of tributes to the Soprano's actor. Gandolfini was bred in the Garden State: born in Westwood, raised in Park Ridge, and graduated college from Rutgers. "James Gandolfini's passing is an awful shock," Christie wrote. "He was a fine actor, a Rutgers alum and a true Jersey guy." The governor wrote three more tweets, praising his portrayal as Tony Soprano, and calling the entire cast of the show "individual NJ treasure."
