International Monetary Fund chief Christine Lagarde said Sunday she received confirmation from Greece’s finance minister that the government will make a debt repayment this week, allaying concerns over the nation’s growing insolvency problem. Yanis Varoufakis met Sunday with Lagarde and other IMF officials in Washington, where he said his country agreed to “all obligations to all its creditors, ad infinitum.” Greece is expected to meet its IMF loan repayment of €450 million on April 9. The country is still awaiting approval for a series of reforms it presented in order to unfreeze $7.9 billion in relief.
