“I am out at MSNBC,” Greta Van Susteren tweeted Thursday afternoon, confirming Vanity Fair’s report that she and the left-leaning cable-news network have parted ways. Just a few days shy of her six-month mark at MSNBC, the former Fox News star is out at her new home. “The anchor, whose show [For the Record] struggled to gain traction even as the rest of her colleagues were buoyed by anti-Trump hysteria, has parted ways with the network. She will not appear on the show on Thursday evening,” Vanity Fair’s Emily Jane Fox reported. Van Susteren will be replaced by Ari Melber, who currently hosts a weekend show on MSNBC called The Point.
