Gretchen Carlson, the former Fox News host suing deposed Fox CEO Roger Ailes for sexual harassment, says the response to her lawsuit and Ailes’s subsequent firing has been "surreal." In an interview with the Washington Post, Carlson said she felt relief as she watched more women step forward to accuse Ailes of harassment, ultimately forcing Ailes from the network. “At first, satisfaction—or no, I think validation,” Carlson said. “I felt angry that it took so long.” Ailes has repeatedly denied the allegations against him.
