Former FIFA Vice President Jack Warner, who is facing extradition to the U.S. from Trinidad and Tobago, has also been investigated over the disappearance of nearly $1 million meant for earthquake relief in Haiti. Warner pledged $974,550 from FIFA to help with the 2010 quake, but the money was subsequently transfered to accounts he keeps for personal use—and hasn’t been seen since. Sources tell ABC News that he is “the most powerful man in the Caribbean,” and may be able to hide money others would not be able to. Investigators are looking into at least 75 bank accounts associated with Warner.
