Two Russian curators who put up a controversial exhibit have been found guilty of inciting religious hatred in Moscow. On Monday, Yury Samodurov and Andrei Yerofeyev were fined several thousand dollars each for putting on a show in which Jesus was depicted in various incarnations, including Mickey Mouse and Vladimir Lenin. “An art group protested the trial by releasing 3,000 cockroaches into the courtroom,” the Moscow Times reported. The two men plan to appeal the sentencing but a date for the hearing has not been set.
