Much to the relief of Hawaiians and vacationers alike, tropical storm Iselle—the second tropical storm ever to make landfall in Hawaii—lost steam overnight on Friday and was downgraded to a post-tropical cyclone. There have been no reports of injuries, though for a while Iselle had 60 mph winds that knocked out power lines and damaged some roads and homes. Meanwhile, Hurricane Julio, a Category 2 is now making its way toward the islands but is expected to miss.
