Vincent Musetto, a former editor at the New York Post famous for writing perhaps its most memorable headline—“Headless Body in Topless Bar”—passed away Tuesday at the age of 74. Musetto wrote the headline, which ran on the newspaper’s front page on April 15, 1983, about a murder in a Queens tavern, where a man shot and killed the bar’s owner and held several women hostage, one of whom was forced to decapitate the corpse. Musetto retired in 2011.
