If you were disappointed that NBC and CNN’s biopics about Hillary Clinton were scrapped, this could be your lucky day. Lionsgate is reportedly in early talks to make Rodham, according to The Hollywood Reporter on Monday. The Spectacular Now director James Ponsold is reportedly on board to direct. The script, written by Young-Il Kim, tells the story of Clinton as a young lawyer on President Nixon’s impeachment committee, as well as her struggle between her career and Bill Clinton. No actress has signed on yet to play the lead, although Ponsold reportedly met with Carey Mulligan earlier in the summer. No Amy Poehler?
