Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner announced on Tuesday that he is imposing an overnight curfew in the city amid record flooding from Hurricane Harvey. “Imposing curfew from 10 pm to 5 am to stop any property crimes against evacuated homes in city limits,” Turner said on Twitter in announcing the new policy, before revising it to begin at midnight. The storm has left the city inundated, and set a new continental U.S. record for rainfall, according to the National Weather Service.
