At an unveiling of its new schedule Wednesday morning, CBS disclosed that it had passed on the How I Met Your Mother spinoff, How I Met Your Dad. According to Nina Tassler of CBS, “certain creative elements” didn’t work out. Apparently the issue was over re-shooting the pilot, which show producer 20th Century Fox was not willing to go ahead with, and neither were the creators, Craig Thomas and Carter Bays. Fox will shop the show to other networks. HIMYD was to star Greta Gerwig, Drew Tarver, Tiya Sircar, Nick D'Agosto, and Andrew Santino.
