Some sea monster out there has been having a rough week. A mysterious disembodied eyeball found on a South Florida beach this week probably belonged to a giant squid or a swordfish, marine biologists believe. The eyes of a giant squid can grow to be as big as soccer balls and are easily dislodged. But don't feel bad for the creature it once belonged to—squid can regenerate body parts, including eyes, quite easily.
