Huntsman Unwelcome at RNC Event

Jon Huntsman’s invitation to the Republican National Committee’s Palm Beach donor extravaganza has been revoked. The former presidential candidate went from speaker to snubbed when the RNC got wind that he’d been calling for a third-party candidate to throw his hat into the presidential race. “I think we’re going to have problems politically until we get some sort of third party movement or some voice out there that can put forth new ideas,” Hunstman said last week. Woops. Huntsman learned shortly after that RNC does not condone such talk when he heard through the grapevine that he’d been uninvited to the event. The RNC Chairman didn't even tell Huntsman himself, but he had to hear it from a member of his presidential campaign staff who heard it from an RNC staffer. Ouch.
