Bollywood star Salman Khan is a free man—at least while he’s appealing his sentence for a 2002 fatal hit and run. Khan was sentenced Wednesday to five years in prison for running over and killing Noor Ullah Khan, after a trial in which he tried to pin the death on his driver. The prison sentence for a beloved movie star made international headlines. Khan was allowed home for two days on bail, after which he filed the appeal.
