Interpol may get to WikiLeaks' Julian Assange before the U.S. Justice Department has a chance. Interpol has issued a wanted notice asking for any information on the whereabouts of Assange, who stands accused of rape and sexual harassment in Sweden, though official charges have yet to be filed. Countries around the world are coordinating to bring down the leader of WikiLeaks—Sweden, Australia and the United States among them, though not apparently, Britain, as of yet. Assange’s legal team is fighting the warrant in Sweden’s supreme court. Assange has suggested he might seek asylum in Switzerland, and he has been unofficially offered asylum by the foreign minister of Ecuador’s leftist government.
