Invisible Children: Portraits of Young Refugees

The solo exhibition, Invisible Children at C. Grimaldis Gallery in Baltimore portrays young Syrian refugees on the streets of Beirut and third-generation Palestinian girls in refugee camps. Through a series of portraits, photographer, Rania Matar captures the eerie reality of life on the refugee camps of Bourj el-Barajneh. When Matar exhibits children adapting to their new environments by selling flowers or in tattered clothing; she comments on the subpar living conditions of theLebanon communities.
