The election just got real as Iowa kicked off its early voting Thursday. Voters in the swing state will be able to cast their ballot any time from now until Nov. 4—once again making Iowa the focus of both candidates’ campaigns. President Obama, who's leading Mitt Romney in the latest opinion polls out of the Hawkeye state, is kicking it into high gear, releasing a new, two-minute ad in which he tells voters what he would say “if I could sit down with you in your living room or around the kitchen table.” He also praised Iowans via The Des Moines Register saying, “There isn't a state that is better informed about politics.”
