Speaking on state television Saturday morning, Iran President Hassan Rouhani argued that case sanctions meant to restrict Iran’s atomic activity have been weakened beyond repair; as a result, he urged world leaders to make a deal and put an end to the dispute over Iran’s nuclear program—all by July 20. "During the nuclear negotiations we have displayed our strong commitment to diplomacy," Rouhani said. "[But even] if a deal can't be reached by July 20, conditions will never be like the past. The sanctions regime has been broken." Rouhani promised that the disputes “can be resolved with goodwill and flexibility.” Another round of talks between Iran and world powers are set for June 16-20 in Vienna.
