Iran won’t budge on its plan for developing nuclear power, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said—but his country is ready for international talks. "Holding talks with Iran is the best choice for you," Ahmadinejad told the international community via state-run press Sunday. "You have no other option. All the other ways are closed. You know the fact very well." The Iranian leader said the U.S. should pressure Israel to reveal its not-all-that-secret nuclear-weapons program. Nuclear talks with Iran have been stalled since October 2009, but last month Ahmadinejad said he would send a representative to negotiate with the “P5 plus one”—the permanent members of the U.N. Security Council (Russia, China, the U.S., Great Britain, and France) plus Germany. The Iranian foreign minister suggested November 15 as a meeting time—possibly an indication that Tehran is struggling to deal with the latest sanctions imposed over its nuclear program.
