The Iranian dissident group Mujahedin Khalq has been removed from the United States' official list of terrorist organizations, the State Department said Friday. The group, known popularly as MEK, has not committed any acts of terrorism in the past 10 years and has recently cooperated with the United States in removing some of its members from a U.S.-protected area.
