Jerusalem's District Court sentenced Yishai Schlissel to life in prison plus an additional 31 years on Sunday for the stabbing death of 16-year-old Shira Banki at last year's gay pride parade. The radical ultra-Orthodox Jew attempted to murder seven others that day. He had just been released after serving a jail term for stabbing people at a parade in 2005. The judge noted that Schlissel had no remorse for his actions.
