Rep. James Comer (R-KY), the House Oversight Committee chairman whose impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden has struggled to make headway, is nevertheless in talks about writing a book detailing his supposed findings, his spokesman told Axios on Friday. The spokesman, Austin Hacker, added that a link on the HarperCollins website showing the title “All the President’s Money” by the Kentucky Republican was “put up in error” by the publisher. "It was not authorized by Congressman Comer and he immediately requested it be taken down,” he said. Although the webpage claims the book will go on sale September 10—two months before the presidential election—Hacker told the outlet that there is currently no book deal in place. The apparent title of the book seems to be an allusion to All the President’s Men, Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein’s 1974 account of Richard Nixon’s prominent role in the Watergate scandal.
