Shake it off, Japan! You can finally dance! After 67 years, Japan has repealed a ban against public dancing. Previously, venues had to have a dancing permit and even then had to shut down the moves by midnight. The law was enacted after World War II to combat venues with heavy prostitution and become serious again in more recent years when celebrity drug scandals and fights plagued nightclubs. The repeal will take effect next year.
