Two jewel thieves are currently seeking refuge in a Parisian hair salon in the fifteenth arrondissement after robbing a Cartier boutique near the Champs-Elysees. Fleeing on a scooter, gun shots were exchanged between the local authorities and the robbers shortly after 6:30 PM local time. The assailants then fled on foot and entered the hair salon, where one woman is held hostage. Parisian media is reporting that she is two months pregnant.
