Legendary outfielder Ken Griffey Jr. and catcher Mike Piazza have been voted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Best known for his smooth swing and fielding acrobatics, Griffey has the sixth-most career home runs in MLB history; and was a 13-time All-Star, 10-time Gold Glove Award winner, and three-time Home Run Derby champion. Piazza was a 12-time All-Star and is considered the best-hitting catcher of all-time. The catcher was elected in his second year of eligibility; Griffey was selected in his first year.
