U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is expected to meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Monday, as the two work to finish a nuclear agreement ahead of a June 30 deadline, according to a senior State Department official. The two leaders will also attend a conference on the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty at the UN, where the Secretary of State is also scheduled to meet with Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh and Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry. The U.S. and five other global powers achieved a landmark agreement on limiting Iran's nuclear program's in exchange for lifting economic sanctions on the nation in early April, but must meet a deadline at the end of June to complete the framework.
