A young woman kidnapped hours after birth from a Florida hospital 18 years ago was found in South Carolina, and her suspected kidnapper—who reportedly raised her—was arrested, Jacksonville Sheriff Mike Williams said Friday. DNA analysis revealed that the woman, named Kamiyah Mobley by her birth parents, was indeed the missing child. Gloria Williams, 51, of Walterboro, South Carolina was arrested at the house where Mobley was raised and charged with interference with custody and kidnapping. Within hours on Friday, Mobley was able to connect with her birth family via video chat. Mobley was raised with a different name in Walterboro and told the sheriff she "had an inclination" she may have been kidnapped as a child. Thanks to the sheriff's office and a cheek DNA swap from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Mobley was eventually reunited with her birth family.
