The Los Angeles Unified School District closed all schools Tuesday due to a “credible terror threat” that officials told KTLA they recieved. A bomb threat was called in to a district board member, police told the Los Angeles Times. During a LAUSD press conference, officials said that “out of abundance of caution,” the entire district has been closed after an “electronic threat” was sent to authorities. An initial investigation suggested the threat was a "hoax" or a deliberate attempt to disrupt school activity during finals.
