L.A. Schools to Reopen After Bomb Scare

The country's second-largest school system in Los Angeles was expected to reopen on Wednesday after classes were canceled due to a bomb threat emailed to members of the Board of Education. L.A. schools Superintendent Ramon Cortines said he made the decision due to recent events in nearby San Bernardinp and closed all 900 schools. Investigators later determined the threat was not credible. New York City Police Commissioner William Bratton dismissed a similar threat as a "hoax" and kept schools open.
