Libyan authorities arrested 19 journalists and a media executive from the Libya Press news agency, the BBC reports. The agency is affiliated with Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, the Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi's son, and a popular figure among reform-minded Libyans, a strong vocal objector to the government, and a potential heir to his father’s rule. The journalists were arrested in Tripoli over the past four days, and Libya Press says no reasons were given for the arrests. They are calling on Muammar Gaddafi to intervene.
